FC ZVIZDAR

Club history

FC Zvizdar was founded in 1979 on the initiative of Marko Maksimović. For the next four years, the club played in the municipal league, and then in the inter-municipal league – Sabac, then Kolubara, until 1992, when it entered the Zone where it played with great success, again under the leadership of Marko Maksimović, until 2005.

In that period, the colors of the club (blue) were worn by mostly all players who meant anything in Ub football. Among them, the most important names are Milosevic Srba, Sindjic Vojimir, Matic Dragan Dale and many others, all under the baton of the conductor, the legend of Ub football, Visnjic Gojko. After a short break, FC Zvizdar plays in lower ranks, and due to the re-registration of players in 2012, it was named FC Zvizdar 2012.

In 2019, the club enters the inter-municipal league Kolubara East, where it still plays at its stadium Rudnik in Zvizdar.
